Interview with Austin Lord on the Politics of Post-Earthquake Nepal

Program Director of the Yale Himalaya Initiative Alark Saxena sits down with Austin Lord for an interview on post-earthquake Nepal. Drawing from personal experience in Langtang Valley, Lord speaks about political activity and inactivity after the earthquake in 2015 have affected patterns of inequality and access to resources across the country.
 
Lord is the director of humanitarian volunteer initiative Rasuwa Relief in Kathmandu, as well as a PhD candidate at Cornall University for his research on hydropower development, energy security, and post-disaster futures in Nepal.
